What We Do Best
We work with people who are in retirement, in the process of retiring, or about to retire. We help them manage their finances so they can enjoy the best retirement possible, making the most of all of the resources available to them.
Planning
Building up your resources for retirement may be tough, but the real challenge is working out how to spend those resources over the rest of your lifetime. Retirement planning has many similarities to mountaineering, and as a famous mountaineer once said “We always discuss reaching the top of the mountain as the challenge. But those, that have been there, know coming back down is the hardest part.”
How to Provide Advice
Access to advice is essential when preparing for, and throughout retirement, particularly as most people rely so heavily on investments to finance their spending in retirement nowadays. We believe that you should be able to contact an adviser whenever you want to – whether that is by phone, email, face-to-face, or by Zoom, FaceTime etc. We’ll always be available, no matter what you would like to discuss.

We are an independent advisory firm, which means that we can help you with all of your financial arrangements, regardless of which companies they are with. We review all of the retirement resources available to you, including state pensions, company pension benefits, savings, property and shares, as well as conventional investments and pensions.

We make use of a wide range of experts to help us construct our advice. As well as the tax expertise of THL, our highly qualified investment committee works with external specialists to help us construct bespoke portfolios to help you achieve your retirement objectives.
